(Morongo Basin) The Morongo Basin Conservation Association wants to remind the public to pre-register for its first annual “Desert-Wise Landscape Tour” that will occur on Sunday, April, the 17th, 2011 from 10am to 4pm. The tour is intended to inform our community about the sustainable use of water and energy in our desert landscape. It will provide an opportunity to tour 20 residential landscapes and unique out-door spaces throughout the Basin and see how those in your neighborhood have personally created sanctuaries that artistically blend the beauty of desert living. “Through these examples you’ll be inspired to fulfill your personal vision for your property and begin living better for less, according to Claudia Sall, event committee chair.
Registration is required and space is limited. The registration fee is $5.00 and is free with a new MBCA membership.
