On February 4, the San Bernardino County Planning Commission deferred a decision on a new Light Trespass Ordinance introduced by County staff. The Ordinance was the culmination of a years-long series of meetings between residents and County Code Enforcement. (See all MBCA's past Dark Skies news here.) At this public workshop members of the Third District Dark Sky Committee headed by MBCA's President Steve Bardwell, in partnership with County Land Use Services staff, will provide background and answer the Commissioners' questions and concerns. This Notice of Workshop provides all the details about attending either in person or online. Procedures to ask questions or make comments by email are outlined in the document - oral comments (no more than 3 minutes) are also welcomed at any of the 3 County sites listed in the Notice (San Bernardino, Joshua Tree, or Hesperia).
