Big Read Morongo Basin is a community-wide month-long literary and cultural event sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts and local sponsors. Join fellow Big Readers at this event for a book discussion on the themes of the 2021 featured book An American Sunrise by Joy Harjo, hosted by the Greenleaf Library at Copper Mountain College. (Book discussions are also scheduled in Twentynine Palms on October 9; Joshua Tree on October 13; Yucca Valley on October 18; and an online discussion by the Hi-desert Contemporary Book Club on October 19.)
