    MDLT Fall Native Plant and Salvage Sale

    The Mojave Desert Land Trust's Native Plant Nursery will offer for sale a variety of desert native plants and also interesting salvage items found during land stewardship. Be sure to come early for the best opportunity - it's first-come, first-served. An information fair about volunteer opportunities is also planned.     Defending the Desert II

    This workshop, organized by the California Desert Coalition and presented in partnership with six other desert conservation non-profits, will teach community members how to better fight inappropriate development and craft meaningful comments to agency decision makers based on the California Environmental Quality Act. Presenters will include environmental experts, conservationists, and University of Redlands faculty. Read more details on CDC's website or read their press advisory. A $10 donation is requested.
