Giving Back to the Morongo Basin

MBCA financially supports community conservation efforts in the Morongo Basin and beyond. Here are some of our past and current recipients:
  • Yucca Valley High School – Field Ecology class  (MBCA has provided financial support for its activities for 20 years). Here is the latest Thank-You letter from teacher Cindy Zacks describing how the program used MBCA's most recent donation.

  • Kids' Art from Earth Day - We asked local kids attending Earth Day 2016 to draw their answers to "What do you like about the desert?"  Enjoy their artistic answers!
  • The Ruth Denison Scholarship of $500 for a Morongo Basin student pursing higher education in a conservation-related field.
