MBCA Scholarship Program

graduation-cap.png

Each year MBCA awards $1000 scholarships to three Morongo Basin graduating seniors who demonstrate a strong interest in environmental and conservation issues, to support their college or university enrollment following high school graduation.

MBCA's Conservation Scholarship is the continuation of our commitment to educate the next generation of conservation-conscious citizens.

The Women's STEAM Scholarship (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) is provided anonymously by two generations of women who held careers in STEAM fields.

The Steve Rieman Scholarship is offered through donations in memory of renowned local artist, conservationist, and longtime MBCA member Steve Rieman, intended for a student who will incorporate their conservation commitment into fields requiring environmentally-conscious creativity.

Read about our 2025-26 scholarship recipients and enjoy photos of past recipients.

The online application becomes available in February each year with applications due in early April.
