Climate Stewards Course Information Session

Sponsored by the University of California and offered through UC Riverside, the Climate Stewards course will be offered in online sessions between July 10 and September 18. Adults of all ages, levels, and backgrounds are welcome. This is the first of two information sessions. The second one is on June 16.

This program is unlike any other in the state of California — an all-virtual experience designed to take participants on a full educational journey to become climate advocates. Students will learn about earth systems, water, energy, and agriculture, plus citizen science, communication training, and more.

The cost of this program is $375. Scholarships are available based on financial necessity. (During the inaugural class, every student in need of a scholarship received one.) Continuing college credits are also available.

Classes will take place via Zoom on Saturdays from 1 to 5 p.m. and select Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., July 10 through Sept. 18, 2021. REGISTER for the information session here.
