Forum on Western Joshua Tree Conservation Act by Assemblyman Greg Wallis

State Assemblyman Greg Wallis, who represents most of the Morongo Basin (minus Twentynine Palms) and parts of the San Bernardino and Coachella Valley areas (map), is sponsoring a forum about the provisions of the recently approved Western Joshua Tree Conservation Act. The invitation reads:
This forum is designed to give residents and stakeholders the opportunity to hear directly from the state agency about the permitting process, available resources, and next steps under this law.

Representatives from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife will provide updates on the law, outline the types of permits available, and answer questions about how homeowners, developers, and community members can comply with state requirements.

Please RSVP here, as space is limited.
