San Bernardino County's Planning Commission will hear public comments on a revised version of the Short Term Rental (STR) Ordinance for the Desert and Mountain (unincorporated) communities. Changes in this latest version relate to business ownership, accessory dwelling units (ADUs), STRs per parcel, and other topics. This 164-page "Interoffice Memo" provided to the Planning Commission by Land Use Services contains 1) a short summary of the recent changes; 2) successive versions of the ordinance; and 3) public comments received after the prior public hearing. The public may comment in person at the County Government Center in San Bernardino, while video conference facilities are available in Hesperia and Joshua Tree.
