This Planning Commission hearing on the Short-Term Rental Development Code Amendment is a follow-up to the Commission's August 8 meeting and public hearing. The code is intended to regulate Short-Term Rentals (AirBnB to use the vernacular) in both mountain and desert areas. After a number of concerns expressed by rental owners, including a number who participated by video conference from Joshua Tree, County staff will submit some modifications for the Planning Commission's consideration and vote. The Planning Commission Meeting will be held at the San Bernardino County Government Center and by video conference in Joshua Tree.
