This unique "immersive sonic experience" is a creative partnership between Harrison House and Joshua Tree National Park, and supported by many local business sponsors. Sound Check Earth will present acoustic music performances composed by Kennedy Verrett at specific times at Cap Rock inside the Park on Friday, April 22 (morning) and Saturday, April 23 (afternoon). The music is created to ‘back up’ the natural sounds of the desert. Check the Harrison House website for more details. The event is free (though Park entrance fees apply) but RSVPs are requested.

Note: Cap Rock is about a half hour drive from either the the Joshua Tree Visitor Center or the Oasis Visitor Center in Twentynine Palms, but lines at the entrance station at Joshua Tree may extend that time.
