Joshua Trees, Past, Present and Future

Presented by "Desert Forest" and "Visit Joshua Tree", the event will focus on what is happening and what can still be done to protect this iconic endangered species. Local desert environmental organizations will be present before the program to provide information about their efforts on behalf of the Joshua trees and other desert concerns. Speakers include Juniper Harrower, Sant Khalsa, Sean Milanovich, and Kim Stringfellow, and a short documentary film by Casey Kiernan will be shown.  A $10 minimum admission is requested; larger donations are appreciated.
