MBCA Director Pat Flanagan has been honored with the Minerva Hoyt Desert Conservation Award for 2017.

The award is presented by the Joshua Tree National Park Association; more background on the award can be found at this page on their website. The Awards Ceremony begins at 1:30 pm with presentations by Mark Lundquist, Field Representative for San Bernardino County Third District Supervisor James Ramos, and Mark Wheeler, President of the Joshua Tree National Park Association.
