We have learned that the Paradise Valley housing project proposed for development right at the border of Joshua Tree National Park will be on the agenda of the Riverside County Supervisors' November 5th meeting. The County's Planning Commission recommended denial of the project, as described in our August 21 MBCA News Update. A showing of citizen concern at the meeting supporting the Planning Commission denial is important as a demonstration of widespread citizen concern for this totally inappropriate housing development. MBCA President Steve Bardwell has offered to coordinate transportation to the Supervisors meeting as described in our October 26 EBlast.
