The agenda for this meeting of the San Bernardino Board of Supervisors will include the continuation of the review and approval of the County's Surface Mining and Reclamation Act Ordinance Update. The ordinance revision was requested by the Supervisors at the August 18 meeting after hearing extensive questions and comments from residents of the Morongo Basin (especially Twentynine Palms and Wonder Valley) with concerns about the proposed Music Valley Mine. The Land Use Services department contacted MBCA on September 29 and provided the updated Ordinance and a Frequently Asked Questions document.  The actual agenda will be provided here when available, estimated on October 16.
