Share your feelings and thoughts about your Tour experience in a short essay. The Essay Contest is open to participants, hosts, and docents.

In conjunction with local businesses, we are offering the following gift certificate prizes:

1st place = $200 gift certificate to Unique Nursery [Yucca Valley, CA
2nd place = $150 gift certificate to Cactus Mart [Morongo Valley, CA]
3rd place = $100 gift certificate to The Dez [Joshua Tree, CA]

INSTRUCTIONS:
Write an essay of 150-300 words (not counting the title, if you choose to have one) to describe your experience and/or comment on how you will apply what you learned on the 2022 Desert-Wise Landscape Tour.

Send us your inspirational essay as a Word document or PDF or just type the text into an email to: [email protected] by Monday, May 16, 2022.

MBCA will inform and announce the winners by Monday, May 23, 2022.

Several MBCA Directors and supporters will judge the essays on the strength of their connection with the experience of the Tours and the Desert-Wise theme of this program.
