In another extraordinarily detailed and comprehensive document, MBCA Director Pat Flanagan on June 30 sent MBCA's official comment letter on the proposed Ord Mountain Solar and Energy Storage Project in Lucerne Valley to San Bernardino County Land Use Services.  In addition, 

she has provided references on soil classifications in the area, a map of potential blowing sand hazards, and additional information on soils to illustrate the potential negative effects of a major solar project in that area. Other issues addressed in MBCA's comment letter include scenic vistas, air quality, land use history, migratory bird routes, and wildlife linkages.
