The Short Term Rental issue will be addressed by San Bernardino County Supervisors at this meeting. See the Supervisors' June 14 Agenda for background documents and instructions for making public comments in person or at Joshua Tree or Hesperia (see below). After the Board's 9AM Closed Session there are 101 items on the Consent Calendar to start the Public Session, most of which are usually approved on one summary vote. Agenda Item #113 is the public hearing for proposed revisions to the existing Short Term Rental Ordinance sent from the Planning Commission. Agenda Item #114 is our focus: "Consider the proposed interim urgency ordinance to preserve the status quo and establish temporary pause on the approval of new short-term residential rental unit permits."  The MBCA petition asking for a pause was signed by (updated) 477 people.
