Join us for the 15th Annual Desert-Wise Landscape Tour! The theme this year is Transformation: Revitalizing Disfigured Landscapes. At your own pace and direction between 9 AM and 4 PM, visit 4 all-new home sites and 3 public demonstration gardens. You'll receive a digital Tour Guide about a week before the Tour to help you plan your day. Volunteer docents will be at each site to check you in and help manage your visit.
Registration on the Tour Day will be available at Mojave Desert Land Trust, which is one of the Tour sites.
The 4 home landscapes are on the West side of the Morongo Basin in Pioneertown and Yucca Valley, and the 3 demonstration gardens are all in Joshua Tree. The newcomer this year for a public landscape is Copper Mountain College, joining our valuable partners at Mojave Desert Land Trust and Joshua Basin Water District. At Copper Mountain College you’ll also be able to purchase a snack or lunch at Jorge’s Café.
